Welcome to the e-workshop of BioArt Project.
The project “BioArt: Borders and definitions. Research project for the development of a widely accepted deontological framework of its production and management”, is implemented by the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI of Athens) and is operating under the Action “Archimedes III”.
As part of the programme’s actions an e-workshop addressed to experts from diverse fields of research (art practice, science, humanities, management) is implemented. The e-workshop aims to explore experts’ opinion on issues and questions regarding on BioArt collection management. The platform of the e-workshop will allow the engagement of diverse groups of experts (including artists, scientists and museum professionals) in a discussion about the idea of preserving and displaying BioArt in collections. The received feedback will provide the grassroots material for further discussion in the framework of a relevant international workshop, which will be hosted in TEI of Athens in April 24th 2015. The final outcomes will allow the development of a good practices’ framework for the handling and the display of BioArt collections addressed to museum professionals.
We would like to cordially invite you to participate in the e-workshop.
If you would like to participate, submit your opinion by answering to as many questions as you wish.
The site will be active until February 15th 2015. The outcomes of the e-workshop will be available in early March.
We warmly welcome your contribution.
